We started working with Heather Serrano Designs early in 2022 to transform our Florida home into the gulf shore oasis that we had always imagined.

Heather's design ability and Frank's construction talents worked together seamlessly throughout the project. We especially liked having one contact who managed the day to day operation. Heather's design studio was in contact with us each day with daily photos, emails and/or phone calls while we were in NJ. We especially liked that Heather did her homework prior to each of our selection meetings to narrow down choices (we're not good at making decisions if there are unlimited choices). Her design suggestions expanded our vision into new territory which gave us the fresh and new design that we wanted to achieve. By taking down walls and reassigning room use, we gained the open floor plan that we wanted. Heather's attention to detail was amazing in both the design aspect and in the construction workmanship. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome. When we walk into the house it feels like home. We love the openness, the clean simple lines, the sophistication, and how the house is so up-to-date. We bought a 7500 square foot house that was 9 years old and heavily “Tuscan” style. We wanted a fresh, transitional style that still respected the architecture of the house and was kid friendly, to accommodate our 8+ grandchildren, all under 5. Heather was great at choosing durable fabrics for the living areas and ready made, washable fabrics for the guest suites. We re-purposed many items and she helped us set priorities and develop a plan and priorities that suited our budget and long-term time frame. New light fixtures and fresh paint helped to give the house a whole new feel right away. Her contractors; painters, electricians, etc… were trustworthy and reliable. It’s been one year and we’re about half done and looking forward to the next phases. By the way, her assistant, Mia, is the best!

Heather and the Serrano Designs team has assisted JCS Realty group since 2005 on various commercial and residential projects including retail & office shopping center renovations, office & restaurant make-overs and single family homes. The team is always willing and able to put forth whatever effort and time is needed to accomplish the task at hand. Our experience of working with Heather and her team means that we won’t dream of looking elsewhere when updating the rest of the apartment. A friend of ours suggested we touch base with Heather Serrano Designs and see what she might recommend. Heather planned replacement of our window treatments, ceiling fans, chandeliers and kitchen knobs and pulls.

Heather planned the repainting of our dark brown kitchen cabinets to a white lacquer and selected colors for the walls and ceiling.Last season we had some storm damage and had to repair and repaint our foyer and bathrooms, as well as replace a few lighting treatments.

Naturally, we had Heather take care of those items. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the experience we have had with Heather and her staff and workers. We have been married for 46 years and over the years we have dealt with many designers. None have come close to Heather’s ability to get things done on time and on budget while being as cordial and friendly as you can imagine.

Just wanted to "thank you" for the amazing job you have done for us. I had worked with your husband, Frank Gericitano and knew we wanted to use him as the contractor for our remodel. It only made sense to have you help us with the design and I had seen some of your work before. It took me a while, but I finally decided to take a leap and trust your judgement when selecting our flooring. You suggested a "herringbone" pattern with our Plank tile.

I had a living area that I just didn’t like. I tried changing certain furniture pieces but I was never happy. I decided to do some shopping for new furniture. Because I was afraid of making another mistake I asked for help when I was at a store and Heather was recommended to me. I called Heather and she was so responsive came over in a matter of days. I guess it helped that she works a lot in my community (Mediterra) and was able to come by after other appointments. I told her I like the look of my dining area and she completed a look I now love with new furniture and carpeting for my living area as well as the dinette area. I’ve dealt with designers in the past and never have I been as pleased not only with the results but also with her efficiency. I would call and she not only took the call immediately she also responded to my requests almost overnight. Heather’s staff (Mia and Frances) are just as responsive, friendly and great to deal with. I would give Heather and her team 5 stars and highly recommend them.

It all started with the master bath in our year-old home in Esplanade Golf and Country Club. It had a huge “car wash” shower and no vanity area. The workman redoing our lanai recommended Heather Serrano Designs.Thanks to Heather and her vision, we were assisted in making the choices and changes necessary before we left for our second home in Minnesota, for 6 months.

We left everything in their hands. We received photo updates on a regular basis. One included Heather draping herself on the new island!Our home was more than we had imagined. My husband and I initially sought out the services of Heather Serrano Designs to help us turn a closet in our high rise condominium into a sleeping space. Heather very creatively transformed this area into a wonderful set of bunk beds with built in drawers which sported beautiful bedspreads and walls and woodwork which matched perfectly with those which had previously existed. We then went on to have Heather assist us in choosing some new area rugs which also turned out beautifully. After a few years, we sold our condo and moved into a home…again we turned to Heather to help us through a major re-decorating process. Heather’s innate good taste paired with her design “flair” and her attention to detail made this process painless and fun…our home is beautiful and we have Heather to thank! I purchased a new coach home in 2016 and furnished it with basic necessities. The home had builder grade paint and lighting fixtures and needed color, texture and accessories. I had seen Heather’s work in multiple homes and loved her ability to walk in and know exactly what was needed to satisfy her clients objectives. Heather’s ideas were practical and she did a great job choosing accessories, colors and textures that brought everything together. New dining chairs made it possible for me to expand seating form six to eight. Carpet and rugs enhanced the tumbled marble flooring and added warmth. Texture was accomplished by the addition of subtle wallpaper and the lighting was upgraded to enhance the decor. Heather repurposed many items and proposed sustainable options for carpet and area rugs. She chose durable fabrics for accent pillows and pulled accessories together. My home is now light and airy, warm and inviting. Heather’s team of contractors and vendors delivered on time and in full. I look forward to working with Heather Serrano Designs on my next project.
